The ASP needle is a uniquely designed semi-permanent needle primarily for Auriculotherapy treatment. It is made in France by Sedatelec in collaboration with Dr Paul Nogier. Dimension: the total length is 3mm with the base measuring 1mm in diameter x 1mm in length and needle part measuring 2mm in length.
These miniature ear stud-like needles are made from high-quality surgical stainless steel. The ASP needle is designed for a stronger stimulation effect than the traditional Press Tack needle.
It is simple to handle and insert using the applicator. There is a bipolar magnet on the applicator that allows for stimulation of the needle after it is inserted and can be taken home by the patient for further use. The needle can be secured in place with the Hypoallergenic self adhesive plaster that is supplied.
